So i have been contemplating between the two lately..
My current system specs are:
i3 4130
gtx 750 ti
8gb corsair vengeance 4gbx2
asus h81-e mobo
550w FSP raider psu

note:
i just got a 23 inch led monitor recently (mainly doing gaming in my room).. and I just feel like using controllers this year (for a change, lol?) anyways, just need some insights really.. thanks guys! :D

Solution
it depends, if you like consoles, then that.
but if you are just like me (i have a ps3 on my pc table), i don't use my console at all.
i play bf4/bf3, then after the round, i alt+tab, then surf around or do other things. This is not possible, or is very hard to do on a console.

if it's just a controller, then just buy a xbox60 controller for windows and play your games (with your new gpu)
also, since you have an i3, remember to balance things out

thanks for the fast reply mate.. though, what do you think? would it be a good move to upgrade my VC first? coz i was thinking of upgrading to i5 4690 and changing my mobo to a h97m, although i can only do one of 'em at the moment and save again later on
