Should I spend the extra £30 and get the 4790k over the 4770k?

I've decided on this build, I really don't want to change it. I'm going for one 970 and an i7 rather than an i5 and two 970s, but my budget is £1000, and two SLI 970s go over budget. I'm getting another 970 later. My question is this: Should I go for the 4970k over the 4770k, as it's only £30 more. I'm going to be using this for Gaming and Recording, as well as Livestream whilst recording, as well as Premier Pro, After Effects and C4D. Thanks!

I would say if you actually dont already have the 4770k then yes go for the 4790k but also keep in mind the 4790k isnt as good as 4770k when it comes to overclocking but if your not going to overclock then there is no reason to get any k version of intel chips if you are going to overclock do a mild overclock on the 4790k to 4.5-4.6Ghz and on the 4770k you can reach a little higher so it is your choice I personally like new things better so I would go for the 4790k

yeah but keep in mind that people have actually overclocked the 4770k higher than they could have to a 4790K. They tried to overclock the 4790k to 4.7-4.8Ghz and it became unstable but when they overclocked the 4770k they were able to reach 4.8-4.9Ghz and stay stable there so I would say it depends on if you want to do a moderate overclock or not if you do then Im torn between the 2 lol I couldnt give an answer because I like new but I also like performance but If your not going to do a moderate overclock then and you want to just bring it up about 0.5Ghz then I would say go for the 4790k
