GA-P35C-DS3R black screen after installing new 2x4gb ddr3 ram

Hi,
I just bought a kit of 2x4gb ddr3 1600mhz CL9 1.5v corsair vengeance memory sticks.
When I put one in(and take my old 2.5gb kit)and turn the pc on the screen stays black, I've tried taking out the cmos battery to reset it but still nothing.
My specs: Core 2 duo e6750
HD7750
GA-P35C-DS3R rev 1.1

I'm sorry to break it to you. Your system supports only upto 4GB with DDR3 not 8GB. Also it doesn't support 4GB DDR3 modules, so that explains why your system fails to recognize the memory.

You can upgrade to 8GB with DDR2 memory.

Also the FSB will need to be at least 1600 to run at 1600 (FSB has to be equal to or greater than DRAM freq), this will also OC the CPU rather high, but if you go this route you can lower the CPU multiplier (note: the P35 isn't very good at OCing or handling DRAM)
