Hi.

I'm looking for a city-building game that was on SNES and PC. Maybe Sega Genesis or other computer systems. I think it was on PC first then was ported. It was in the early 1990's.

It is not Utopia: The Creation of a Nation. Or Civilization.

I remember it had different maps you could pick. They were mostly hills and mountains. There were a few spots that were flat. A little man (a cave man at first) walked around. When he found a flat part, he built a home. The point was to make as many flat places as possible so civilization could grow. Water surrounded the land and your cave person could fall off the map if you flattened the map too high and eliminated the homes.

I don't remember if animals were there. I think so. I think the cave man had a family in the home. Eventually another man came out and walked around to repeat the same steps. There could be a few people walking around the map.

I don't remember the commands on the side menu (like sim city's side panel) I never had the instruction manual.

I can't find a keyword to look on wikipedia or youtube for game footage.

There are only a few listed there that were released on the SNES, so it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. Just copy and paste the names of those games into google or youtube and you should get your answer. :)

Hi. Thanks spdragoo.

I wonder why Populous is not on the wikipedia list? I can't see it.

It looks like Populous 1. Not Part 2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LdzBLKjMHzU

I remember that heart-beating.

If there's any other suggestions I'll take it. I am thinking there is another similar title also.
