How many watt does my setup need?

Hey guys,

I'm building a new pc, i want to know how many watts i need.

System:

i5 2500k (OC 4.0 ghz probably)
ASRock Z77 Pro3
The videocard will probably be a GTX 770

you should need about 550-600w- O would get a good 600w psu from evga, seasonic, antec hgc or xfx.

Yeah the parts aren't bad, but unless you are buying them all used, they are a terrible value.

The motherboard is new at 80 euros.
The i5-2500k is used at 110 euros.
The videocard used if it's going to be the 770, maybe i will go for the 960.
Do you have a suggestion for a similair build at around the same cost?

Get a Haswell i5 like an i5 4460, 4570, or 4590 and a H97 motherboard
You should be able to get a R9 280x or R9 290 in your budget.

Well me, I would go with the 2500k for 110 euros. Be sure that it's a good seller tho.

Nah a 2500k @ 4.0ghz is not going to perform any better than an i5 4590 at 3.7ghz. No sense in going with something about to be 3 generations old.

The i2500k still performs strong when you look at comparisons between newer cpu's so that's nice.
I should run games at high settings with these specs

yes you should. Check out kallray on ebay, I bought an r9 290 from him a month ago and he is very reliable.

I will have 5gb ram in this setup, would that be enough to run games like the witcher 3 and battlefield 4?
Because i read that ram doesn't affect games much.
Or should i upgrade to 8gb ram?
