I looked in the BIOS for the advanced tab or at least advanced setting and I don't see anything. There isn't any kind of option for "advanced." I'm on an HP Envy m6-n113dx. I use a laptop cooler and everything so I know I won't be overheating if I were to do it, but does this mean that i'm not able to do it?

If there is an option available... most bios programs are set to only allow one or two steps or options... but if you can't find it.. then it probably won't allow you to do anything. One option you do have, though... is to look up the name of that particular motherboard and seeing if there is a BIOS upgrade for it. It's possible more options would be available.
