Hi! I've watched some videos on YouTube about motherboard and I've noticed people saying that sometimes you can't have 3 graphics card because the PCI is 8x 4x and 4x (it's an example). I've also seen them saying that it depends on the CPU you're using, like with some CPUs the slots become 8x 8x and 4x (I'm not sure about this thing, maybe i just didn't understand). What's with these 16x 8x and 4x? How do they work and what kind do graphics cards use?

This means all the processor can do is @16. @8X8 or @8x4x4.
The motherboard also needs the specks to support more than one card.
About the least you would want to run is 8x8 when you get down to X4 speed a higher end video card will not have the performance it could because of the limited bus with.
