Hello guys..
So, i'm getting a core i5 4670 with Gigabyte GA-Z87MX-DS3H motherboard, and a core i7 3770 with GA-B75M-D2V mb.(don't ask why these two :D) One for me and one for my girlfriend. Ofcourse i want the better one because i play more demanding games(looking forward to the witcher 3) and she only plays the sims :D. So my question is which of these two cpus is better for gaming with a MSI GTX 970 4G(which i already have)? My girlfriend will have a gtx 650 card. So, what i'm really asking is.. Which of these cpus will perform better in games that don't use more than 4 cores? And how much better will the i7 perform in for example Watch Dogs or Crysis 3?
My other specs are 8gb ddr3 1600mhz RAM, WD caviar blue 1tb 7200rpm, and Windows 8.1. 64-bit.
Thanks for any replies :).

the 4670 is a better single thread performer, and it will overall perform better in todays games as none are yet optimized for multithread... the 3770 is a better at multithread.

Tough choice here :p... the 4670 may be better today, but the 3770 may be better in a couple of years :D assumming games will get better at multithread
