Hi everyone. My Maximus VII Hero's Ethernet port has stopped working for a few days now. It shows up on device manager, but has error code 10. Its lights also don't ever blink. I've tried to reinstall drivers several times, but nothing works. Could it be damaged, or it showing up in Device Manager mean it isn't? Is there any way to fix this without RMA?

Maybe do a BIOS refresh? I had the same problem with my Wireless Network Adapter, and refreshing the BIOS somehow fixed it. I don't know if it will work for you though.

You might have a faulty internet port, but before you RMA it, I'd suggest you to do some tests just ensure its still working.
Or maybe something might've triggered in the BIOS, can you look around to see if the onboard ethernet is disabled/ enabled?
