I'm planning on downgrading my windows 8 to 7~
If I were to download the drivers for windows 7 would it erase the drivers that support windows 8?

Well, that was a pretty important thing to mention.
Your Windows 7 install will not kill off drivers installed with the Windows 8 install.

You install the Windows 7 drivers when you are booted into the Windows 7 OS. That will not affect the Windows 8 install.
