what does DIMM Major/3rd mean? or maybe there is a better ddr2 out there for around that price

i was looking at buying this memory for my aging pc it cost $20 [Samsung 2GB DDR2 RAM PC2-6400 240-Pin DIMM Major/3rd] i need to know what the major/3rd[ actually means whether its important or not and if this is decent enough or not also if there is another ddr2 for around the same price that would be better i have a msi k9a2 platinum motherboard

Not sure what Major/3rd means? However, that module with part number M378T5663EH3-CF7 may not be compatible with the MSI K9A2 Platinum motherboard, as it is not on the list of compatible memory here.
