reference 270x vs hd 7950 boost

Solution
The 7950 boost is actually comparable to an r9 280. Which is basically an overclocked 7950 anyway.
The performance is so close to the 7950 with the r9 270x that it's negligible.
So depending how much extra you're talking about would it be worth it?
Also the factory overclocked ones give little performance over stock usually, and you could do it yourself anyway.

If you can find the r9 285 for the same price it'd be a much better deal, but out of these 2 I would go with the 7950 if it's only a tiny bit more expensive.
It has a bigger Vram amount and also hopefully better overclocking potential than an already highly overclocked 7870/270x.

-good luck
