Hai.

Long story of events that lead to now:

____________________________________________
So, I bought this pc about 2-3 years ago when it still had Windows 8. Then when Windows 8.1 came I could upgrade for free in the Windows store, so I did. But then every time I started my pc, and just every 2 hours, a big screen would overlay everything saying I had to activate Windows (while I had no key), and had to wait a few sec everytime before I could click it away. I guess when I bought my PC it had a pirated copy of Windows 8.

So to fix that, I searched some Windows 8.1 activators / cracks on youtube. I believe it was called KMS what worked. So it worked for some time. Until exactly 1 year ago where it just randomly stopped working, maybe the key expired? Anyways, my pc started restarting every 2 hours from then on, and I tried some more cracks, but they didn't work.

So for a whole year now my pc has been restarting every 2 hours. And that restart is instant, you get a blue screen for 1 second and then it restarts without saving anything. I have to calculate 2 hours ahead every time I start my pc so I can restart manually before it happens for the PC's safety. But now I've finally grown tired of it.

When I go to PC Settings, and choose Activate Windows, it shows this:

(English translation: Your license for this evaluation version of Windows has expired. You have to install the newest version and activate it. Until you have activated Windows, this pc will restart every 2 hours, so be sure to make a back-up of your data.)

The clickable link that says "Install newest version of Windows" (should) lead to the page where you can download Windows 8.1. Here comes the biggest problem: apparently this cracked version of 8.1 doesn't support showing that in the store. Because when I go to the store for 8.1, it shows this:

(English translation: This update is not available for your pc or you're using a version of Windows that does not allow updating via the Store.)

I'd be more than willing to actually buy a valid version of Windows 8.1 now. But how? There's not a place where I can simply enter a license key I buy, because it wants me to completely re-install Windows 8.1, which is not possible through the Store.

What do you mean? A Dvd version I just completely install over it? And will I lose all my data?

Yes.
For your data...save it elsewhere first.

Well then, that's sad news :/

Is there a way to save all my programs and stuff to put it back on later?

Programs? No. They will need to be reinstalled.
'Stuff'? Depends on what you mean by 'stuff'. doc/music/video...sure. Save it to another drive.
