any reason i should replace my MSI Z87-G41 with MSI Z87-G45 gaming motherboard?

I have some issues with ping at times on my pc, that i never had back when i played on console. I am hoping that the z87-g45 gaming motherboard's ekiller will at least help somewhat with my ping issues. (or at all)

I already own both boards due a rma on my gaming one is there any reason or benefit from going through replacing the z87-g41 with the z87-g45 or is it just a waste of time?
(if so i probably will just sell the gaming motherboard)

The G45 has many additional features and can improve your system if you utilize them, your networking will be more stable but pings won't improve drastically if at all. It does have better audio quality. But the biggest difference IMO is the durability. The G45 will outlast the G41 in any scenario.
