please I need to know will the asus r7 250 gddr5 work in my dell inspiron 3847
It has a 300w dell 80+ bronze psu
could I please get a definite answer

yes you should be fine the requirments for this card is 250w you are fine..

I'd want a better PSU, min of a good 350, the ones they put in prebuilts seldom ever are near what is advertised as far as continuous power

I agree but you should be fine with the 300watt power supply I would spend money on a new psu, its a bronze 300w so its not that bad.

It wouldnt be pointless to get the gpu you would see big performce differnce but a psu is not necesery. ok

Can check the PSU, should have a label showing the 12 volt output
