hi, my chassis comes with two fans, but I can only find one spot on the motherboard where I can connect the fans, and now I have only connect one fans, the other fan left unconnected , I have a couple of questions about that....

1. In general, is one chassis fans already enough? does two fans make a big difference? I don't have a display card and I don't overclock.

2. where to connect another fans? is it possible and common that the board I am using only supports one chassis fans? or is it because I have overlooked something?

My config
Intel i5 2400@3.1
Asus P8B75M LX-PLUS
Antec Neo Eco 400c
2x4GB Kingston
Seagate 1T 3.5' basic HDD x1
Seagate 2T 3.5' basic HDD x2
Generic DVD writer x1
No SSD
No display card

Thank you.

Yes, you need to connect the CPU fan to the motherboard. It will overheat if you don't.

Your motherboard has a CPU fan connector and a chassis fan connector. I would connect the CPU fan to its header (the computer won't turn on it you don't) and connect the intake fan to the second header.

If you can get a splitter like this, though, I would connect that to the header and then connect the two chassis fans to the two available headers:

CPU fan? Do you mean the fans on top of the heatsink??

I am talking about the fan that comes with the chassis.... There are two chassis fans for my chassis, and they are three-wire fan but the fan header is four-pin fan header.

Did you mean I can connect chassis fans is useless and I can even disconnect the current one/?
