Here goes another Intel vs AMD thread lol. The AMD FX processors get the job done (any job) but the i5 is better. There's my vote.
Lol its not a bad cpu the amd I personally use both but as for right now the intel chips are just a bit faster in gaming and aside from gaming I personally use photoshop, premiere, aftereffect davinci resolve as a Video editing/Colorist intel i way aheadd.

Games aren't using more than 4 cores yet so the extra 2 or 4 cores are superfluous. That makes the decision based on the GPU
