Hi,

Attached are two PC's, I am trying to consider which is better for a friend. He is looking for a PC that is capable of basic gaming, he doesn't necessarily need top notch graphics. He is more looking for a PC for basic everyday computing, gaming every now and then, and something that will last a long time as well as some doing a lot of CAD. He is looking to see which is better for the price, so any opinions on which PC you think can provide these things for him would be great!

I actually think the pre-built is still better. It's a downgrade from 16GB to 8GB in both builds. The GPU is better though... With CAD memory is important, so I'd recommend him taking the pre-built one.

The power supply in the pre-built system is probably crappy though... It's only 300W. But the reviews are positive so....

Do you think either of you would be able to suggest a better parts list for the same price as the pre-built? Or is the pre-built a pretty good deal? That is in Canadian Dollars.
Thank you

Why not just add 8 GB more and you have a much more powerful PC than the pre-built one? That'll be way better.
