Hello.I have an unusual problem. I just bought a used Dell 745 with an 80 GB hard drive with Windows 7. When it starts up, everything is fine and quiet. I replaced the HD with a 500 GB drive previously used by me. In start up, the screen says "no boot available" and the machine gets a bit loud. Did I miss something

If you do not want to reinstall windows you need to keep that 80 gb as your boot drive and use the 500gb drive for your data drive. If you run with both drives be sure in the bios to have that 80 gb drive selected as the boot.
