Can I use a android phone (Rooted) to host a usb drive on its own wifi network?
Reason is because I put some Anime on my 16GB pen drive and I want to watch it on my iPod or on my iPad. I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 (As I have said its rooted) and a OTG cable (USB adapter for android devices) I was wondering if I could host a WIFI server on my Phone hosting the media. A WIFI password is not needed for this considering this wont be providing 4G internet like a tethered hotspot would. In short terms I am just looking for a program that can host files via the phones WIFI (like the one it makes when you tether)
