Which setup has more graphic power: A dedicated FX-6300 + HD7770 VS an A10-7700k APU in dual graphics mode with a R7 250?

Here's the deal: I'm going to be building a $400 or less gaming PC that can rival a PS4. (PC vs console is not relevant here, we're only going PC. DO NOT bring consoles up.)

I'm trying to squeeze out as much gaming graphics power I can between the CPU and GPU for $220. The options I've come up with are between the setup the tittle suggests.

For $220, I can buy an FX-6300 and an HD7770 Graphics card and run both independently for the system,

OR,

I can match up an A10-7700k APU with an R7 250 and run the two together in dual graphics mode.

Which is the better of the two? I understand that the A10 can be paired with the R7 250, so I would assume that would be more ideal, because the APU+card setup SHOULD have more graphic power than an independent HD 7770 by itself.

Although, the R7 250 seems to have less graphics power then the HD 7770.

I guess the simplest way to ask it is this; which setup is better for gaming, two R7 250s in dual graphics mode, or one HD7770?

Solution
Definitely FX6300 + 7770.
Besides, it'll last much longer, since the CPU is much more powerful and you can later add another 7770 or whatever else you'd like.

Tho the 7000 A10 series isn't much better than the 6000, the price difference is definitely not worth it.

I would go with the FX 6300 and HD 7770, you might even pick up a use R9 270X on Ebay for $120 if you so choose. You will have a capable 1080o gaming PC that you can also overclock.
