Will this CPU paired with this motherboard need a BIOS update?

I plan to use a Intel Core i7-4790K 4.0GHz Quad-Core
and an MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming ATX LGA1150, on PCPartPicker in the notes section, it says some Z87 motherboards may a need BIOS update to use Haswell chips. So my question is will this Mobo paired with this CPU need an update, if it does need an update will have to buy the cheapest compatible CPU to flash the newer BIOS?

Yes, you will need to update the bios.
I don't think you need a CPU at all.. I think you just plug in a flashdrive with the bios update on that. If anyone could confirm that please..

So what I should do is get my Mobo, power it up, put a USB with the BIOS on it and flash it. Where could I find a guide on how to flash?

you will need to have a operating system with this board to be able to flash bios see the motherboard user manual http://www.msi.com/support/mb/Z87-GD65-GAMING.html#down-manual and you could try with the cpu it could have the needed bios on the board if not you have to get to a shop and have it update .
