So I just installed a fresh Windows 7 on my new Samsung Evo 850 and I unplugged my old HDD with windows 7 in it. Now I'm thinking of plugging it back in then reformat my old HDD. The thing is both of them is gonna have windows 7 before I reformat the old one. Not sure if its really a problem or not but would it mess up my computer having 2 windows 7 installed on both drives? Would it make any conflict or anything? Can I just simply plug both then reformat the old HDD?
Any tips/advice/info would be greatly appreciated!

When in doubt... you can always just play it safe. Just have your old hard drive plugged in and boot from your Windows DVD... then get to the install screen and select Advanced ... then from there you can DELETE the partition on your old drive that has your old windows on it and reformat it... after that you're done... You can exit out... and shutdown your computer and plug your SSD back in...

I suggested you unplug the SSD so you don't accidentally delete the wrong partition... sometimes that can happen to the best of us... but it's up to you..

I've thought about this but then I realized that I need to get some notepad/word stuff to transfer. I guess I can just unplug SSD and put HDD in then transfer some files. I should've backup some files before I installed the SSD but I was so excited to install it and completely forgot about it.
