Looking for Headset with really good quality mic

I've been trying to find information on what headsets have great microphones. I currently have a Logitech G230, and based on feedback from people i talk to online and microphone tests the sound being picked up is not very good. Does anyone have any suggestions on what headsets they've used that have good mic quality? I'm not concerned with the audio quality all that much since i just loop the headset around my neck and use speakers or earbuds. Thanks!

Hi Nocturnedl. What about the HyperX Cloud Gaming Headset by Kingston. Or something like Razer? or Sennheiser? Or maybe just buy a microphone?

You wont get a good quality mic with headsets, there just going to be average quality. Your best option is to get a external mic. And if your not going to be using the audio part you shouldnt be looking for a headset.

I tried an external mic before, but it picks up too much background noise. Just touching my desk was enough to trigger noise pickup. I'd prefer an external mic, i just don't know which to get and how to keep the background noise out. It was a blue yeti by the way.

I think your better off buying something like this from Plantronics, check out their website to find others like it. Plantronics will have good audio and noise canceling too.
