I built a system and used a really cool Thermaltake Level 10 case.

One of the main selling points was a set of 5 hot swappable drive bays. I always wanted a case where I can hot-swap drives like optical drives.

I've been really happy with the case, but I noticed that it's nearly *impossible* to get additional hard drive caddies. The part is called "Thermaltake ST0039Z Plastic 2.5" & 3.5" Black SATA QuickLink Box" and it's REALLY difficult to find. Out of stock on newegg with a "we don't know if we'll be restocking this ever" message. The only ones I can find are here, and even this is out of stock for the next 9 days:

I don't understand. The case is only ... 4 years old? Maybe 5? Many people buying this case will have wanted additional drive caddies. This part should be easy to find.

Is this common? Is there any way I can prevent this from happening to me in the future? Is Thermaltake just a lousy company?

On a separate note, does anyone know where to get this part or if after-market parts are produced?
