New Build ~ Any Reason to Benchmark with no GPU

Hey everyone,

So I havent actually gotten my GPU Yet i was wondering is there any real reason to do any sort of benchmarks? I am not sure if Benchmarks are solely for GPU's or are there other things to benchmark?

If so as you can see I dont know much about it to begin with, any advice on which program to use or run?

There are a lot of free benchmarks, some can be loaded from Steam.

Unigine Valley
Unigine Heaven
3DMark11
PCMark7
CPU-Z

will all give you useful information about your system

I have the Intel Core i5-4690K cpu.

Like i said though I dont know how to do any benchmarks or which programs are right for it, still trying to figure this out some more
