So I have had my PC for a little over a year, and when I built it, buying windows was out of my budget. So I had a friend get me a fake copy and now my windows is slowly dying. Its constantly telling me that my windows is not certified and it wont let me keep backgrounds. And it crashes a lot. So Im finally buying real windows but I dont have an optical drive. I do have an 1T external hard drive though. Anyway I could make this work??

Hi
You need a 4GB or 8 GB USB usb 2.0 flash drive
then down load the Microsoft program which makes usb drive bootable then copies contents of your ISO file (or Windows DVD ) to USB
