I have a 3770k on an asrock z77 pro3 motherboard, I found a nice 2400mhz ram kit for a decent price, but the problem is the high voltage, i've been reading that it may fry up the CPU and void warranty.
Is it really that risky to run 1.65V ram on an ivy bridge cpu? Has anyone experienced with it?

Solution
No it's not risky, I was running 1.65 2133/9 sticks on my IB from the original IB release and then upgraded to 2400/10 32GB of Tridents in May of 12, that rig has been running basically 24/7 at 4.7 since about a week after I originally got it. The new owner continues to run it 24/7 and is used in higher end video work
