Hi, I have a AMD FX 8320, with the stock heatsink. I see the heatsink is running rather hot, and rather loud. Can I change the heatsink fan with something quieter, without removing the entire heatsink? Also, what is recommended as a quiet, efficient fan, in the size of the fan that I need?
Thanks!

Edit: I also want to be able to control the fan speed via Speed fan, or similar software.

Which seems like it would be a good idea for you because you sound pretty new at this. Some people like Hyper 212 EVO's. I had two and personally they are can't dissipate the heat a 8320 produces. That and they have their own crappy backplate, cheesy mounting hardware and are a pain to install. They now reside in a box of spare parts.
