BIOS Updating Help Asus Sabertooth Z87

Hello, I have a Asus Sabertooth Z87 motherboard, I've had it for about a year now. And I'm not really sure on how to update the bios properly. After I've read online I honestly didn't want to do it anymore because of the bad things that can happen. But seeing my brother with the new and updated bios (he just built his PC recently so he has the latest UEFI bios) it really motivated me to give it another try. I heard something of a UPS that you need or something.

I'm not really experienced with any of overclocking/updating bios or anything. I'm just a guy wanting the latest stuff ya know? lol. thanks

Why do you want to update? You shouldn't update unless there is an issue.

However, if you do....it does have USB BIOS flashback which is the easiest method. I made a video on it:

Here is the official manual insert:

However, as it says to use the DVD to get the latest....don't do that....instead just download the latest from the link below and then continue with STEP 4 onwards.

Thanks for the video tutorial and guidance. Really helped, my bios is now up to date and working properly, sorry it took a few hours to respond. But I was actually taking my PC apart to do this lol +1 to you mate.
