Cannot find RAID HDDs in File Explorer on installed RAID Host Adapter

I've updated my PC with a SSD for installed programs and added 4 HDDs (2 x 750GB and 2 x 2TB) in 2 arrays, in RAID1, attached to a RocketRAID 2720SGL SATA RAID Host Adapter. I only have 5 SATA connectors on my mother board, hence the host adapter; 1 for the SSD, 1 for an optic drive. Windows Device Manager sees the RAID Host Adapter but File Explorer does not see either array nor HHDs.

Hardware: MB-ASUS M4A78T-E, CPU-AMD Phenom II X4 955, 16 GB DDR3, OS: 8.1. What have I not done/switched over to see the 2 arrays to save data to them? Cheers

Solution
I am assuming you went into the BIOS of the RAID adapter and setup the drives (the 2 X 750GB as array "1" and 2 X 2TB as array "2"). Since you see the adapter in Windows Device Manager, I am assuming you have the drivers installed from their website?

Have you gone into the Disk Management Utility to see if there are any drives listed for the arrays?

Windows platform Os Only Shows NTFS or FAT Formats Hdd's only,

My Computer>> Right click On Mycomputer>> Manage>> Disk Management >> That is Your Installed Hdd's , You Find That??

Sorry everyone, nubby move, added my response to ronintexas to wrong box.

After your reply, I went into Computer Management, selected Disk Management. Disk 1 [698.056GB Unallocated (Array 1 on host adapter)] and Disk 2 [1864.94GB Unallocated (Array 2)] were uninitialized, which was quick to correct. Right click on Disk 1 and 2 and a small window appears. Options: New Simple Volume, New Spanned Vol., New Striped Vol., New Mirrored Vol., Properties and Help. I'm not sure which to select, Simple or Mirrored. I suspect Simple and the HDD arrayed with that HDD will Mirror the data from newly Allocated HDD. Is that correct?

Cheers ronintexas

Thanks rointexas, you were spot on. I suspect kranthi chevuri was going to recommend a similar response. Now to tile a shower. Cheers!
