Hi guys!

Had to place this here as there is no win10 forum yet. I have just installed Win10 Preview and mostly love it. For a preview works really well. Have hit a small issue with accessing network shares.

I have a computer running windows 7 acting as a kinda NAS machine. When I try to access it I get the error:

"\\SERVER is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource....."

Thing is, I can access other shared machines/drives on the network from the Win10 machine. I can also access the server from my Windows 8.1 Surface Pro without issue. I have tried directly using the IP address for the server and that didn't work (on Win10). Have tried a couple of other suggestions from around the 'net but to no avail, including checking windows client was installed and a registry check.

I just don't get why I could access it when my machine was installed with Win7, other machines (Win7, Win8.1 and Linux) can all access the server, but the Win10 machine can't. Worst case is I go back to Win7 backup I made before upgrading, but would rather try and find out the reason for the problem :)

Again I apologise for putting a Win10 issue in the Win8 forum.
