Well I got a Kingston dt108 8gb flash drive and it doesn't work on mine nor on any other PC I tried. It is grayed out when I plug it in. When I try to open it, I get the message "Please insert a disk in Removable Disk F". Many people suggested to change drive letter, and I did it via CMD because Disk Managment couldn't do it. When I changed the letter, nothing happened. I can't do anything with it.
