I've been wanting to build me a new comp for the longest now. Would be nice to play old games on emulator and I would like to know if would be possible to play Witcher 3 and Alien Isolation on $500 build?

In my opinion, pretty much the best for the price range.

Wouldn't it be better to spend more money on the graphics card and less on the cpu, in iliftfood's build the cpu is about 70 dollars more then the card and games rely on gpu more then cpu (depending on which game). Im just asking and not saying that its anything bad.

That is true. However if more was spent on the GPU, an i3 would have to be used which is dual core. Quad core is almost a must now. You could get the "hexa-core" aka 3 module CPU; FX-6300 but you would then have to spend more on a decent motherboard and you'd also face the problem of having a CPU running on a dead socket (AM3+ no longer gets updated)
