Solution
If you really want to erase all partitions and start fresh, boot of the Windows7 CD and when it asks you to choose a partition/HDD press SHIFT+F10.

It will open a DOS window.
Type DISKPART
Type LIST DISK
Type SEL DISK X (where X is the drive you want to erase, usually DISK 0)
Type CLEAN

Close the DOS window.

Click Refresh in the window and a un-partitioned disk should appear.
Click the disk, click Next, and Windows should install.
