Can't use the dedicated graphics card to play games

Hello! I've just bought a new PC and was eager to download and play a game. I tried Crysis 2, but as soon as it started, I realized it was lagging (even in minimal settings). As I have a r9 270x and i5 4460, probably the problem isn't the hardware limitation. After some searching, I think that the problem is that my computer isn't using the Radeon at all (which explains why the Catalyst center doesn't have the logo or a "games" option). What do I do? I've tried accessing the BIOS, but I don't know how to use it nor how to configure the computer to use the Radeon always (and not Intel Graphics 4600). Thx for the attention!

GhislainG has a good point, also if that doesn't fix it, in your BIOS there will be an option not far from pressing left or right to enable or disable the Intel Graphics and/or set your primary graphics adapter to your PCI-e slot or the Intel graphics.

What do you mean? The computer is connected to the monitor by HDMI, but I don't have any direct connections between the R9 270X and my monitor.

The problem is that my monitor (tv/monitor) doesn't show the BIOS. It only shows something when the computer is almost fully on and started. I tried disabling Intel Graphics via Device Manager, but it went really, really wrong. The screen was black and I had to enable it again without actually seeing anything (my friend was seeing the screen via skype, that saved me).

you seem to be so noob that cannot move one cable to another connection just disconnect your hdmi from the motherboard connection and put it on the gpu one

There are no valid reasons to disable the Intel GPU; besides the OP needs it to view or modify the BIOS settings (as clearly mentioned in one of his posts). I've never disabled Intel Graphics and it never caused issues on any of my socket 1156, 1155 and 1150 systems.

Actually not. I bought a Gigabyte windforce OC r9 270, but the store sent me this one. Is there a problem with it?

This is not only the mobo connection. The last connection (down there) is from the card

No, there wasn't. In case I use it, will there be any differences/loss of quality?

Not really, but you'll have to spend $5 to get one. If you use a TV as a monitor, then quality is not very good anyhow.

My TV is 1080p, and meant to be both a monitor and a TV. You mentioned the price of the card. Is it bad, even though I got it by accident and the same price as the r9 270? P.S.: If this cable solves my problem, it's fine. Thank you so much for helping!

EDIT: FOUND IT! I am so sorry, the *insert swearing here* at the store put something in the HDMI and I only saw it now.
