Can someone explain what means these commands and how to proceed further, please?
ddrescue: input file dissapeared: no such file or directory
ubuntu@ubuntu:~/mnt/recovery$ 1f
What is "1f"?
They are the last commands as I'm trying to recover a bad drive...

I'm using Windows 7 with the bad one as slave. I used this tutorial here:

No, I'm just using a HP laptop with the 2 drives (source+destination) hooked through usb slots

I do have an internal running windows 8.1. But as you can see the tutorial it will extract a raw image

I have no idea... It does matter? I know that is a HP Pavilion laptop with 500GB HDD running Windows 8.1
