Hey,

So whenever I start my computer, a black screen appears and then after like 5-10 seconds my user choice pops up.

The windows animation does not appear, nor does my Gigabyte BIOS option before that.

I need to go onto my BIOS but i do not know why it is not letting me see the option for it.

I have not changed any setting as far as i am concerned and none of my hardware is damaged.

It happened all of a sudden to be honest.

MY SPECS:
Gigabyte Motherboard
Nvidia GeForce GTX 660
Intel Core i5 - 4670K
8GB RAM
60 GB SSD
1 TB HDD

I have heard this is something to do with the BIOS, but i cannot solve it because I cannot enter the BIOS from the start up option - does anyone have any suggestions as in to what i should do?

Thanks so much!

I have tried that but nothing happens

The Gigabyte logo and options to go into the BIOS use to appear - but now they do not.

Likewise with the windows animation - I want that to be there but i dont know why it is not showing. I will try again but last time it did not work when i kept pressing delete

Yeah i think so too - I mean if i didn't want to go onto the BIOS everything would be fine. The computer is running fine, everything is cool. But just the bootup. You got any suggestions?

I'm not sure to be honest - I think the last time i checked it was disabled. But it might have been enabled. Is there a way for me to change that without going on the BIOS?

Will clearing the CMOS 100% reset it to default? So will it work after that? Thanks

Because I have 2 hard drives, will one of them be formatted because the computer will be reset to default so it will hide one of the hard drives?
