im trying to upgrade my cpu where i have little to no fps drops in game. Because right now i have like a %20-%35 drop in fps whenever i stream. im looking for a cpu that i would only drop like 5%-10%. ive been looking at the i7-4790k but the new haswell-e's have come out and wondering if i should get the newest one or get the 2013 cpu's ive also been looking at the i7 5930k and the i7 5820k. pretty much do some all of this ramble up i want a cpu that would not give me not that much fps drop while i stream and game at the same time. fyi i know i would have to get new ram and new motherboard im just not sure if its worth.(current gpu atm btw is a gtx 980). Thanks

There's no upgrade to an I7 3770k that would make the slightest sense for gaming. An I7 4770/4790k would be roughly a 5% upgrade on the same clock speed. And you can usually get the I7 3770k higher than an I7 4770k, particularly as high as an I7 4790k.

i actually fixed this fps lag problem. i researched into it and found that it was all becasue of Areo when i disabled it everything ran better while streaming.
