they will work together fine but unless the price is very good, the i5 is similar priced and a better chip. before the price drops the 8320/8350 were good buys but now they are almost the same price, the i5 is a better buy. a solid mobo and cooler for the 8350 would put you at the same price as an i5, cooler and cheaper mobo yet still allow for oc'ing if you wish. only been the last few months this has been true but it is now.
