Hey there guys,

so I've recently build my frist computer, but I want to make it a little bit faster.
Here is my build:

CPU: Fx 6300 OC'ed to 4.2 Ghz
Mobo: Gigabyte 970A-UD3P (rev. 2.0)
PSU: Corsair cx600m
GPU: Gigabyte r9 270x 2GB Oc version
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 7200.12 500GB Advanced Format
RAM: 1x Samsung 4GB 1333mhz + 2x Kingston Hyperblux 2gb 1333mhz

So my question is, can my PSU hold new SSD? I just want to store system files (windows), so I'm going for 32GB/64GB.

Link to the SSD.

I hope there is still some power to get this SSD.

Thank you.

well, you got ripped off on the PSU, the corsair CX series sucks. i would get a new one, but you can put your system into pcpartpicker and get the estimated wattage, then apply it to your situation. the partpicker estimate is usually at max wattage, so it gives you headroom by itself...

Guys it doesn't matter the model and the maker of the PSU, it matters how much wattage can supply on 5V, 12V and combining 12v+5v AND how much amps. All psu's are made in the same way. One or two transformers, some transistors-capacitors-diode. And when you see things like: Active protection, Advanced technology protection...neah it's just a fuse or a relay :))). Anyway don't worry the ssd will draw a maximum 10W from your PSU.
