Can you give me some examples of your rendering & exporting times with the i5 / i7 laptop processors? Please specify how big was the processed file (how many GB, and how many minutes of movie) and your laptop processor. I want to make an idea about it and only you can help me. Thank you in advance!

Yes. This was an assignment for uni but generally the rendering will depend more on the software rather than hardware. I used premier pro which is works well with nivida chips especially quadrino cards. Also the video was very small in length so I don't think my times will be that useful unless you are doing light video editing.
