I have an Italian extractor fan in kitchen and the transformer has gone I have a UK copy but need to know what wires go to what. Italian colours are red and brown (but could be orange) the riot copy has brown and blue what colours do I connect

The UK colours are Europe standard brown live blue neutral while the italian one are non standard and therefore manufacture specific but since it is AC then it won't really matter ,just test for fan direction after powering up.I would try UK brown to Italian red ,UK blue to Italian brown.
