Hi, I am restoring an HP Compaq 5100mt for use by my family (I know its old but I live in Africa so its all I could get). I was able to install Windows 7 64 bit but the graphics driver only supports XP. I tried installing both 64bit and 32bit versions from a formatted flash drive (using Rufus) but keep getting the same screen when I try and boot from the flash drive.
It says

HP UNDI PXE-2.1 v7.5.14

The "HP UNDI PXE" feedback on the screen means that the PC is trying to boot via the Intel network adapter.
The PC doesn't even see your flash drive as being bootable media, so it's ignoring it.

Either the BIOS is not set to boot from USB, or it does not support booting from USB (if it's an old PC that's quite likely), or you haven't prepared the flash drive/pen drive properly to make it bootable media.

Windows 7 is not supported on the Compaq 5100mt anyhow so you're wasting your time. It's not just the graphics driver that's the problem. HP in fact do not have any Windows 7 drivers for that model so you're going to have to settle for XP.
