Windows 7 virus and reinstall help!

Ok guys.

I bought a second hand pc and have had it for 6 - 7 months. i have upgraded cpu and gpu and recently got a virus called sality. It has now got to the point where i need to fresh install windows 7. As i got the pc second hand, i ordered a windows 7 recovery disk. now i ask, will the product key work again on the fresh install? its on the side of the pc. me or my parents cannot afford a new harddrive, copy of windows or anything like that so i need help bad.

Hello... Yes... You do not need to order a recovery Disk... Window 7 ISO's are publicly available... http://www.w7forums.com/threads/official-windows-7-sp1-iso-image-downloads.12325/ and will Work fine for you.
Sometimes a phone call is needed to complete the "activation" it is a painless procedure to do... explain hardware failure or data corruption required a "re-install"

Yes, the activation code is good on reinstalls on to the original motherboard.

Actually, any windows 7 install dvd of the same 32/64 bit flavor will work.
