How can I find out what graphics card slot I have without opening up my PC

uh, why cant you open it? well, either way the bios should be able to tell you what slots you have and what, if anything is in there, is in them.

How old is your PC? If it's more than, let's say, 8 years old, there is a chance it will be using AGP. Any newer than that, it's bound to be PCI-E.
AGP was starting to be phased out when I was 5 years old, so I doubt if your motherboard still has one.

First, go to the START menu and then type "dxdiag" (without quotations), then click the Display tab and it should say what kind of graphics your computer has.
