Here is a link to this beast. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202129&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=

Has anyone found the benchmarks for this monster? I know it's a new card, but I want to make sure it's worth the money.
Thanks!

Are you planning on buying it? Because right now that would be a very bad idea. The new generation radeons are very close to release, and even this card is basically a glorified rebrand of an older model.

Nevertheless you can expect only 10-15% more performance (tops) for 20-30% extra price.

Well, I was going to go with a GTX 970, but once I heard about their Vram issue, I decided to go with AMD. As this card has 8 gb Vram for only $75 more than the 4 gb version, I thought it might be a good buy. When are the next radeons coming out? I need a new computer now.

Yes, that perfect grandaddy of the card not so grand spanking shinny anymore, eh? :D

The aforementioned cards are due to release somewhere around march, april or may this year. Don't... just wait man. Unless your fortune teller told you that your computer is going to explode within a week or so, you can afford to wait. AMD hasn't disappointed me yet and I've been buying their cards for a long time now.

I'm having the same problem, I'm trying to decide whether or not to buy this card, and the new AMD 300 Series release date has been pushed back to June. With that being said, you know the cards are going to be expensive. Here's the thing, I had a Diamond R9 290X, and I was thinking of using a 4k tv as a monitor, and I found one. Long story short, I bought the tv, and gave my R9 290X to my roommate. Since the only way to get 60Hz over HDMI using HDCP, I had to get another video card, this time an Nvidia GTX 970. Well, that didn't work out because even though it was running at 60Hz, the MS response time on the tv was 8, and most monitors are between 1 and 5. In short, there was latency, not a lot, but enough to show a difference especially in FPS games. So, I sent the tv and the video card back. Now I'm without a video card. So while I know the 300 series is coming, I'm stuck. :/
