My Dell computer that I've had for a few years stopped functioning correctly 6-9 months ago. It was freezing with bright lines up and down the screen and required a hard reset. It would do this 3-4 times a day in rapid succession and then completely stop until the next day. Eventually I did a factory reset about 2 months ago. That made it less severe only crashing 1-2 times a day however now it is even worse. Some days it will crash 6 times and after a crash sometimes it won't turn on for an hour. Sometimes I get a bsod sometimes it freezes and needs a hard reset and other times it goes black and needs a hard reset. I have tried google and I can't find anyone having a similiar issue. Any help or ideas are appreciated.

Look at the logs in event viewer for warnings or errors
Also if yu BSOD record stop error codes....
