Hi guys, so I just built my pc and everything seems to working fine. I already installed all drivers/windows updates. However I'm having an issue with the fron panel audio jack.

Whenever I insert the amazon headphones/speaker or even my monitors' built in speakers to the front panel audio, there's no sound. They only work on the back panel audio jack. My realtek doesn't seem to have the folder with the option for "front panel jack detection". Running out of ideas and almost giving up on using headphones entirely.

Any help guys?

Solution
You need to connect the HDAudio cable that the case came with and connect that to your motherboard pins that are labeled something along the lines of "Audio"

I was having a similar problem with an Asus MB and had to get into the BIOS and change the onboard device configuration on the front panel from HD Audio to AC97 and it works fine now. Give it a try.

Hi thanks for the input! I got it sorted out already though. I had to mess around with the front panel wiring inside the casing. Maybe it was loose or something but I had to push the wires in abit and it works fine now :D
