Had my Asus Laptop for about 7 months now, and have been having problems with freezing/hanging, and I think it is related to my Solid-State Drive. The laptop came with a SSD and a HDD, partitioned into 4. I can't get the laptop to start up, and I'm trying to get Windows 8.1 installed on the HDD without the SSD.
I've installed windows 8.1 on the HDD, and have taken out the SSD, but when I start the computer, it starts BIOS, and does not give me any options to boot from the CD Drive, only the USB drive. I have Windows 8.1 fresh installation on both a USB and CD, but I can't get the computer to boot the Operating System, nor boot from the CD to try installing from there since I installed from the USB.
